mealeaPEPY has been working with students from the Kralanh District for nearly 10 years. Our mission is to invest time and resources in young people in Cambodia, working with them to connect them to the skills, systems, and inspiration necessary to achieve their goals. Keeping in line with our philosophies we are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team – Mealea. She will be working part time, assisting our accountant Konnitha. Mealea is 18 years old and is studying accounting at the Vanda Institute. She has finished her first semester of a three year qualification.
Mealea is from the Chanleas Dai commune and attended Kralanh High School. While she was in high school she thought she would like to be a teacher, she knew nothing about being an accountant.  It was at the Skills Fair that PEPY hosted where she first learned about accounting and after she graduated from high school she applied at Vanda Institute.
Mealea is pleased to be working at PEPY as it will give her experience in the industry and money to support herself and her studies. Ideally when she completes her study she hopes to work in bank. At the moment whilst Mealea is working and studying in Siem Reap she lives with her older brother.
Welcome to the PEPY family, Mealea!
