At PEPY, we have recently had two fabulous volunteer trips of people from the U.A.E. and have two more trips coming up in the next two weeks. These trips have been the first pure volunteer tours we have had in quite some time – all but the final 12 hours of a one week trip in rural Cambodia helping with school building projects. Living in the upper part of a house we rented shared with a family from Kralanh, the district where we work, we have had a lot of time to get to know the groups who have joined us. We have had a chance to get back to what PEPY is about – changing attitudes and inspiring people to be who they want to be and help make the changes they want to see happen in their lives. These groups have helped make schools happen in Chanleas Dai both through the funding provided by the organization they traveled with and through their hard labor and friendships.
