New Initiatives

Youth Leaders in Action Project
The Learning Center’s English, ICT, and Youth Empowerment Projects culminate into the Youth Leaders in Action Project where youths take course content from theoretically to practical. In early 2020, youth groups were given training and workshops to design and implement business and community development initiatives. In 2020-2021, youth groups will apply their skills from the Learning Center to conduct research and advocacy projects.

Future is Bright Computer Lab & Club
One of youths’ greatest barriers to ICT education and technical job training is limited exposure and access to computers. COVID-19 has greatly impacted Siem Reap’s economy which is primarily dependent on tourism. This lab will enable youth to use computers, PEPY developed ICT training materials, and online courses on their terms, for them to diversify their skills and qualify for more positions both online and in Cambodia.
