Over the past academic year, all of the scholarship students have been committed to their studies, working hard in both their university courses, and in the Learning Center. Sitham, Ronouch and Day are amongst these students, and they have seen their hard work rewarded with particularly excellent grades across their subject areas, which have propelled them to the forefront of their respective courses.
Sitham is currently studying at Chantiers-Ecoles de Formation Professionnelle (CEFP), where he is training to become an electrician. Despite there being inconsistencies in the teaching staff, which he found challenging, Sitham has managed to maintain exceptional grades in all subject areas; this semester he has been studying five separate modules including, Alarm Systems, Solar Energy, Marketing and Generators. Sitham says that he is ‘working hard so that I can complete my dream to become an electrician’, and that his ‘current focus is to prepare for the future’.
Ronouch has recently graduated from Paul Dubrule School of Tourism and Hospitality, where she was studying Tourism. Her commitment and work during her time at the school was impressive enough that she was encouraged to stay at the institution and offered the position of Director Clerk. Like Ronouch, Day also graduated in Tourism and Hospitality in July. They spent their time at Paul Dubrule developing an in-depth understanding of the tourism industry, as well as building upon their knowledge of Khmer and World history, geography and cultures.
We are proud of the level of commitment shown by Sitham, Ronouch and Day, and believe that they provide a great source of inspiration to their peers and others. Congratulations to the students for all their hard work and excellent grades to date, we are confident that their success will continue and they will achieve their dreams for the future.
